St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School

School Day

Breakfast Club opens at 8.00 am. Children are served a selection of healthy snacks to include cereals, yoghurt milk and juice. Parents must book onto Breakfast Club one week in advance.

The school opens for all children from 8:35am, whereby children can enter their classrooms and engage in morning activities. All children are expected to be in their classrooms by 9:45am for registration.

The school day finishes at 3:15pm for all children.

This amounts to 32.5 hours in school each week.

We have a variety of after school clubs for children in Reception to Year 6. A letter is sent out each half term detailing the different clubs. Parents must book onto afterschool clubs at the start of each half term.

Assemblies:

Gospel Assembly

We always begin our week with a 'Gospel Assembly', This is a perfect way to start our week. We always reflect on the weekends Gospel reading and think about how this can help us live our lives under Jesus' watchful guidance.

Celebration Assembly

During this assembly each teacher reveals who has 'Let their Light Shine' this week. House Point Captains inform the school of who is at the top of the league, attendance and punctuality percentages are told and birthday children have the whole school sing to them! We also encourage children to bring in awards from extra curricular out of school activities.
